Me

So I have gotten to my goal weight. I have lost 30lbs. I could still stand to lose more. Is a woman ever satisfied with the way she looks? I'm not. That's why I set my goal for only 30. I knew I could accomplish at least that much. Now all I need is to win the lottery so I can buy the new clothes I need. I really want to be about 135lbs. I am happy enough with what I am now and if I don't lose another pound that would be ok with me. I am healthier now than I was. My BMI went from 36.1 to 30.5. I am no longer obese!!!!! I feel better too. I have slowly been weaning my self from my prescription. I don't take it every meal anymore. I don't want to be on it any longer than necessary. My test was Thanksgiving. And I passed.

Nene

So Nici came home for a visit yesterday. She will be here for a week, Wed to Wed. We have a wedding on Sunday and then she will stay for my birthday and then go home. She must have brought the cold front with her from Portland. Brrrrrrrrr it's cold outside. We have so much on the agenda while she is here. We will be going to Six Flags with the girls and Kelly's family. We will be going to Build a Bear and to see the movie Bolt. I heard it was funny. Poor Hailey. She saw Nene last night. Then Nici left to go put her stuff at her Gigi's house and Hailey didn't want her to go. When she returned, Hailey made her take off her shoes and jacket and hat so she wouldn't leave again. She made her sit and play with her on the floor and didn't take her eyes off her. Mac of course wanted to stay home from school and spend the night in Fort Worth. I told her no cause its her mom's time to spend with her. We get her all weekend. Nici even looks different. I didn't even know it was her getting out of the van last night. She looks like a Portland person. The hat she was wearing really threw me.

Gene

So Gene and Frank are off on their hunting trip. Gene called this morning and said it was snowing. I wish it was snowing here. It is definately cold enough today for that. I hope he enjoys himself cause he deserves a little fun time. It is so rare for him. I love you hunny!!

Girls

So we are taking pictures at Sears on Sunday. This is what they are wearing. Mac said I needed to get something that was "her". Hailey thinks wearing skulls makes her a girl with an attitude I guess.

Julie's side of the family

We are exchanging names for Christmas at Thanksgiving, right? We need to set an amount and if we are doing it per couple or per person. Email me with what you think and I will go with the majority.

If you need ideas for the girls just let me know. Mac is getting to old for toys (mostly) now. I have a few ideas on what she would like. Hailey is an open book.

Circus

So we went to the circus last night and the kids had a blast. They rode the elephants, as you can see in the picture above. We had nachos and cotton candy. We sat up close this time instead of all the way at the top like normal. When it was time to leave Hailey threw a fit, normal for her lately. Nobody tell Gene I have his picture up. I snuck it in.

Wine

The guys just bottled up some white wine Sat. What a mess! I didn't get any pics this time cause I was cooking lunch. But it's made.

Makayla

Makayla, Hailey and Emmy held a 2 day fundraiser for the Denton Animal Shelter. Here is a picture from their first customers. These two girls spent $6 and it was mostly in pennies.
As you can see they had lots of fun doing it. They also collected supplies for the shelter. When all was said and done they had $81 and a 50 gallon plastic container full of supplies that we donated yesterday. They did such a good job. They also learned a little in the process.

Hailey

Today is Hailey's 4th b-day!!! I'm sad to say I forgot until my mom reminded me. I remembered yesterday. Anyways everyone who has called she has made sing to her, so beware. I can't believe she is 4. Where has the time gone?

Bruiser

Poor Bruiser. He had to go get his eye worked on today. He has an ulcer on his left eye. His health lately hasn't been great. He is half deaf now and needs surgery on his gums. Now his eyes. I guess he is at that age now where things are going to come up more often. But he is still his same loveable self.

So the time has come for Hailey and Gannon's birthday party. They will be 3 and 4 this year and are excited about the upcoming party. We are going to a pumpkin patch and hay maze this year. After we will have dinner and presents. Then we will go to Mac's school fall festival for even more fun!!!! Those of you attending please bring canned goods to get into the pumpkin patch and cash for the festival. Can't wait to see everyone.

So if y'all haven't seen me in a while, when you do, you might be a little surprised. I have been on a diet that actually works and have lost 17lbs. so far. By the holidays I should be down 30-40 lbs. I am so proud of myself! I have to toot my own horn. No pictures yet because I want all of you to be shocked with the new me. I feel better and get around more. I go on walks with the kids and play with them more. Get ready for the new me.

Costumes for the 08 season.

Well we all knew it was bound to happen. Mac was arrested and sent to cute jail.
Here Mac and Hailey(super Hailey) and jail dog Shooggy are in their costumes they picked out this year.
Mac wanted so bad to get Sugar an outfit so I made her a matching one myself. They were made for each other.

Nene

Hailey dolled herself up and said she is getting married. Isn't she pretty!?!
Ok so Hailey loves to sing, dance, and play the guitar. I was listening to limewire and she made a guitar out of this flyswatter and started jamming away. She does this every time the music is playing.

Sugar has gotten so big!!!

She has doubled in size and weight! She is so cute. She has learned to sit. Bruiser has finally gotten used to her and now they play all day long. Look at the size of those feet!

1st Batch of James' Home Made Wine

Here is Frank standing behind a jug of red wine. This is their first batch made. In this picture they are waiting for the bottles to dry after sanitation. In all they had about 30 bottles of red wine. There are two more wines in the making, one more red and one white.

We named her Brown sugar or just sugar for short. She just loves the hamburger toy Hailey picked out. Mac's in love. Puppy love that is.

New Puppy!!!

We adopted this puppy from a friend of a friend. It's a little girl. We haven't decided on a name yet for her. We are so excited to have her. Well we don't have her yet. She is at the vet getting shots and stuff.

Mac

Mac starts school next Monday. 5th grade! Isn't that crazy?!!! We just finished her tax free school clothes shopping. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't to bad this year. We did have to buy her everything though. She had a growth spurt and absolutely nothing fit. She is into earrings and necklaces and all things pretty this year.

Kelly's kids Jacob and Maddy came to visit this summer. Her step daughter Claire is also there. I enjoyed seeing them. They are good kids.
